Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Exciting opportunity to join an industry leader providing services that have revolutionized the lives and careers of thousands of managers, leaders and coaches throughout the world. The position is located in Marin County, and requires strong experience from the Professional Training industry.

The Vice President, Sales and Marketing is responsible for managing sales teams to grow business across the board through the development of effective and impactful messaging, communications material, sales tools, and other collateral. This position reports directly to the President and will manage internal and external sales teams as well as marketing functions. The Vice President, Sales and Marketing owns the vision, message/story structuring and packaging, orchestration and delivery of sales enablement programs, operating at both strategic and tactical levels. A strong understanding and appreciation of the connection of the company's sales process and value proposition as well as the ability to synthesize multiple inputs into effective solutions are key requirements.

To be considered, tell us about your related industry and leadership experience.

The successful candidate must have:
• At least 5 years demonstrated Sales Management success at an executive level of a mid-level size company, or at the senior manager level of a large, multinational company.
• Must also have direct marketing experience, developing marketing strategies, new product introductions, and support materials to enhance sales efforts.
• MUST HAVE related industry experience from a professional training/consulting company with substantial revenue, i.e. companies providing leadership development, sales training, organizational development, coaching.
• The company also sells directly to F100 clients. Experience selling into large corporate Human Development departments is also highly preferred, with the polish and professionalism needed to assist sales staff to close business at that level.
• Strong relationship, management and communication skills are required.
