Our client, a small leading edge company focused on children and educational products, is searching for a motivated and passionate Account Executive. The company is in a strong growth mode and is expanding into a new territory. They are adding new products including a well received publication for children. This individual will have primary responsibility for the Sonoma County 101 corridor but also require territorial coverage for the Sonoma County valley area.

Primary responsibilities are for continued sales growth generated through a mixture of direct and indirect sales presentations. The right candidate will be a team player, results oriented and committed to bringing in revenue that goes towards helping children and their education. Ideally, they will have current connections within the Sonoma County schools (public/private), athletics, sports and business community.

There is also the ability to telecommute from a home office for the self-disciplined candidate or you may come into our Sonoma headquarters. As we continue to grow, this individual will have the opportunity to move into a sales management role. Compensation is a mixture of a base plus commission. (At quota, expected OTE of $70k +).

Qualifications include: • A minimum of 1- 2 years successful experience in selling to key decision makers within the business or nonprofit environment or a recent graduate in business, marketing, advertising or a related discipline. • Knowledge of advertisement sales or sponsorship sales is a benefit, but not entirely necessary, we will train the right individual. • The ideal candidate will have current connections within Sonoma County schools, sports/athletics and business community. • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals through self motivated, self disciplined and independent measures is an absolute requirement. • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, MS Office as well as a contact management system. Filemaker a plus. • Internet savvy with social networking aptitude as well as professional networking capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication/ presentation skills. Professional in demeanor and a high level of integrity. • Ability to work the occasional evening. • Current California driving license and insurance.

Compensation is a base plus commission with reimbursement for mileage and approved expenses. Vacation, holidays and ability to participate in group medical plan. (At quota, expected OTE of $70k +).
